7.15.1 Web break monitoring
Only acvate web break monitoring when the calculated diameter corresponds

o the real diameter!
In the event of a web break:
•
The c
alculated diameter changes in the opposite direcon to that of the winding direcon.
•
The circumferenal speed no longer corresponds to the line speed signal.
When the parameter Web break detecon window size = 0 or = 2, a diameter change in the
opposite direcon to that of the winding direcon is only sll permissible within the window
congured in the parameter W

How to acvate web break monitoring:
1.Set bit 24 of parameter Control words = TRUE. 0x5050:010
The last valid diameter value is maintained as soon as a web break is idened.

Diagnose winding direcon 0x5050:110 17 TRUE
Loading a start diameter that signicantly deviates from the real diameter in the direcon
opposite the winding direcon can unintenonally trigger the monitoring funcon. This can
happen, for example, when a standard diameter of 50 [%] is loaded at the rewinder and the
real diameter is only 45 [%]. In such a case, the acvated web break monitoring funcon will
prevent the diameter value from changing to the real 45 [%].
