17.15 Heatsink temperature monitoring
In order to avoid an impermissible heang of the servo inverter, the temperature of the heat-
sink is de
tected and monitored.
The temperature of the heatsink is measured in the temperature range of 0 ...
80 °C with a t
olerance of -2 ... +4 °C. Beyond this temperature range, the meas-
uring accuracy decreases faster.

Warning threshold for temperature monitoring.

If the heatsink temperature exceeds the threshold set here, the inver-
ter outputs a warning.
•
The warning is reset with a hysteresis of approx. 5 °C.
•
If the heatsink temperature increases further and exceeds the non-
adjustable error threshold (100 °C), the inverter changes to the " Fault
" device status. The inverter is disabled and thus any further opera-
on is stopped.
