7.15.2 Monitoring the dancer posion
Monitoring the dancer posion is important ror the operaon of the winder in the following
c
ases:
•
The dancer c
ontrol must only be enabled and the machine subsequently started when the
dancer is at the setpoint posion. The posion is indicated by bit 28 = TRUE of the parame-
t
er Status signals. 40x5050:110 Bit 28
For the setpoint/actual comparison, the window "Dancer in target" window applies.
40x5052:197
•
When the dancer reaches the mechanical end posion range, there is a risk of the web
breaking during ongoing operaon. These kind of web breaks can be prevented by moni-
toring whether the dancer is within at the end posion range for long periods of me.
Brief deecons in the direcon of the dancers’ upper or lower end posion do not always
lead to a response from the machine control. The point that marks the start of end posi-
on range is dened via the parameters Threshold for upper dancer posion and Thresh-
old for lower dancer posion.
•
Threshold for upper dancer posion 40x5052:195
•
Thr
eshold for lower dancer
posion 40x5052:196
The exceedance of the dened dancer end posion is indicated in status bits bit 25 = TRUE
and bit 26 = TRUE.
•
Status signals 40x5050:110 bit 25 = TRUE
•
