You cannot
clear the
paper jam
message.
The cover is not
closed, finisher is
against the printer,
or there is paper
somewhere in the
paper path.
Open and close the top cover and
make sure the finisher is locked
onto the alignment pins. Recheck
the finisher and printer for
additional jams.
Pages are not
stapled.
Attempting to staple
too many sheets.
The staple cartridge
is empty.
The stapler is
jammed.
Reduce the number of pages in the
staple job. The finisher can staple
up to 30 sheets of 20 lb paper. If
you attempt to staple a larger stack
of paper, the finisher ejects the
stack without stapling it.
Install a new staple cartridge.
Check the stapler for a staple jam.
