Before driving

Q Situations in which the Hands Free close
& lock (Walk-Away) function

In the following situations, the function may
not operate properly:
O When the smart entry & start system
does not operate properly.
O When the close & lock function does not
operate properly.
O When moving away from the back door
while the Hands Free close & lock (Walk-
Away) function is in the standby state.
O When the number of electronic keys reg-
istered in the vehicle increases.
O When the Hands Free Power Back Door
does not operate properly.

Q When reconnecting the battery
To enable the power back door to operate
properly, close the back door manually.
Q If the back door opener is inoperative
The back door can be unlocked from the
inside.
Remove the cover.
To prevent damage, cover the tip of the
screwdriver with a rag.
Loosen the screw.
Turn the cover.
