7-2. Steps to take in an emergency
When trouble arises
Q Inappropriate pedal operation warning light

When a buzzer sounds:
z Brake Override System is malfunctioning
z Drive-Start Control is malfunctioning
z Drive-Start Control is operating
z Parking Support Brake function (Static Objects Front
and Rear of the Vehicle) (if equipped) is operating.
o Follow the instructions displayed on the multi-infor-
mation display.
When a buzzer does not sound:
Brake Override System is operating.
o Release the accelerator pedal and depress the brake
pedal.

Indicates a malfunction in the Stop & Start system
o Have the vehicle inspected by your Lexus dealer
immediately.

z The VSC system;
z The Trailer Sway Control system;

z The downhill assist control system;
z The Multi-terrain Select; or
z The Crawl Control
