Q The USB Type-C charging ports can be

The engine switch is in ACC or ON.
Q Situations in which the USB Type-C
charging ports may not operate cor-
rectly
O If a device which consumes more than 3
A at 5 V is connected
O If a device designed to communicate with
a personal computer, such as a USB
memory device, is connected
O If the connected external device is turned
off (depending on device)
O If the temperature inside the vehicle is
high, such as after the vehicle has been
parked in the sun
Q About connected external devices
Depending on the connected external
device, charging may occasionally be sus-
pended and then start again. This is not a
malfunction.
Q Rear side of the console
Do not put anything on the rear side of
the console or close the lid when any-
thing is on the lid. Also, close the lid when
the USB Type-C charging ports is not in
use.
In the event of sudden braking or sudden
swerving, an injury many occur due to an
occupant being struck by the open lid or
the items stored inside.
Q To prevent damage to the USB Type-
C charging ports
O Do not insert foreign objects into the
ports.
O Do not spill water or other liquids into
the ports.
O When the USB Type-C charging ports
are not in use, close the lids. If a foreign
object or liquid enters a port may
cause a short circuit.
