– 2-stroke pulse mode (LED 22 and LED 26 light
up).
– 4-stroke pulse mode (LED 22 and LED 25 light
up).
 If you select alternating current (AC) with button 27,
LED 28 lights up.
 Press the mode button 20 and hold it down.
 With the current mode button 27 select one of the fol-
lowing parameters.
– MACS -, LED 30 lights up.
– MACS +, LED 29 lights up.
– MACS off, neither of the LEDs lights up.
 If necessary, set the following parameters.
– MACS frequency
– MACS balance
– MACS DC current
Interval spot welding

The interval spot welding procedure is available in the
2-stroke and 4-stroke operating modes.
2-stroke: The spots are automatically repeated as long
as the torch button is pressed.
4-stroke: The interval spots are started by the rst ac-
tivation of the torch button and ended by activating the
button a second time.
– The parameter Spot Welding Time (tSP) deter-
mines the duration of each individual weld spot.
– The parameter Spot Welding Time Off (tSO) de-
termines the duration of the interval between two
weld spots.
 Select the Spot Weld mode with button 20.
 Hold down the mode button 20 and press the save
button 58.
9 You are now in the Auxiliary Parameters menu.
 Use the selector button 32 or 33 to select the auxil-
iary parameter Interval Spot Welding On/Off (PSP).
 Use the rotary knob 34 to select the value ON in the
right hand 7 segment display 35.
 Change to the Main Parameter menu using the but-
ton 20.
 Use the selector switches 32 or 33 to select the main
parameter Spot Welding Time (tSP).
 Use the rotary knob 34 to set the desired spot weld-
ing time.
 Use the selector switches 32 or 33 to select the main
parameter Spot Welding Time Off (tSO).
 Use the rotary knob 34 to select the desired spot
welding time off (interval between two spot welds).
