If the position of the drum is not correct, take it out again and look
for foreign particles or
other stoppages at the shaft.
15. Turn the photoreceptor drum by hand and press it a
little bit into the de
vice
until it stops at the rear. After
t
hat turn the drum clockw
ise until it engages.
Please be especially careful when carrying out this operation
to avoid damaging the printer.
16. Remove the auxiliary rod from the drum shaft.
17. Put the nut to the drum shaft and fix it well
.
18. Install the drum plate and tighten the knurled screws.
Please p
ay attention, that the ball-bearing doesn’t cant.

19. After the drum install
ation please measure the resist
ance. For
that you put the positive circuit of a digit
al multimeter to the drum
edge and the negative circuit to a groundet part of the printer
(for example a screwhead belonging to the printer chassis).
The normal resistance should be 0
Ω.
