12. Follow the procedure in the reverse order for assembly.
• Adjust the two Y-SP plate screws so that the gap shown in the diagram below is between 3 mm
and 5 mm.
• Do the following to attach the belt:
(1) Attach the belt so that it is level between the pulleys.

(2) Rotate the pulley forward and backward to check engagement with the belt.
(3) Press down on the belt vertically using a push-pull gauge.
(4) Adjust the belt tension to within the specified value. (Screws ×3)
• Specified value: 28 to 31 Nm
• Belt slack: 1.5 mm
13. Apply grease (P. 16) to the upper and lower end faces of the timing belt.
• Use a clean stick to apply evenly.
14. Wipe off excess grease.
