CCU and RCP4 interactions
The RCP4 and CCU cannot both operate the crawler or the MCR at the
same time. If this happens a warning will be sounded on the RCP4 and
the CCU, and they will both stop operating the MCR. The RCP4ís red LED
will also ash rapidly. The keys on both devices need to be released for at
least 2 seconds before normal operation can continue.
RCP4 battery
The RCP4 is designed to operate on its internal battery for over 2 years.
If the battery low level is detected by the RCP4 it will indicate this by
ashing the red LED for 5 seconds and sounding a warning every time
the RCP4 is switched on. At this point the user should contact their local
Minicam service agent to arrange a battery replacement. When the
battery level is critically low the RCP4 wonít switch on after sounding the
warning.
All Stop pressed
The crawler buttons (D) and (E) will stop operating the crawler, but the
Reel buttons will still operate.
No CCU present
The crawler buttons (D) and (E) will stop operating the crawler, but the
Reel buttons will still operate.
