DANGER
1. Items related to maintenance
Do not touch the terminals while power is on. Doing so could cause electric shock.
Correctly connect the battery. Also, do not charge, disassemble, heat, place in fire,
short circuit, or solder the battery.
Mishandling of a battery may cause overheating, cracks or ignition which could result
in injury and fire.
Switch off all phases of the externally supplied power used in the system when
cleaning the module or retightening the terminal or module mounting screws.
Not doing so could result in electric shock. Loose tightening of terminal screws can
cause a short circuit or malfunction. Over tightening of screws can cause damages to
the screws and/or the module, resulting in fallout, short circuits, or malfunction.
The capacitor is mounted to the modules. Do not incinerate the modules so that the
incineration of capacitor may cause burst. For disposal of the modules, request for
specialized industrial waste disposal services who has incineration facility.
2.Items related to inspection
Never open the front case or terminal covers while the power is ON or the unit is
running, as this may lead to electric shocks.
Never run the unit with the front case or terminal cover removed. The high voltage
terminal and charged sections will be exposed and may lead to electric shocks.
Never remove the front case or terminal cover at times other than wiring work or
periodic inspections even if the power is OFF. The insides of the controller and servo
drive unit are charged and may lead to electric shocks.
When performing wiring work or inspections, turn the power OFF, wait at least ten
minutes, and then check the voltage with a tester, etc. Failing to do so may lead to
electric shocks.
Never operate the switches with wet hands, as this may lead to electric shocks.
Do not damage, apply excessive stress, place heavy things on or sandwich the
cables, as this may lead to electric shocks or fire.
Do not touch the controller, servo drive unit or servomotor terminal blocks while the
power is ON, as this may lead to electric shocks or fire.
Do not touch the built-in power supply, built-in grounding or signal wires of the
controller and servo drive unit, as this may lead to electric shocks.
