5. MODIFYING THE MEASUREMENT CONDITIONS
5.8 Modifying the Traversing Speed
For measurement with the cutoff length (sampling length) of 0.8mm(.03”), the traversing
speed can be set to either 0.25 mm/s or 0.5 mm/s (.01”/s or .02”/s).
The factory default value for this setting is 0.5 mm/s (.02"/s).
■ The cutoff length (sampling length) and the traversing speed
The SJ-301 will automatically set the traversing speeds according to the cutoff length (c) or
evaluation length set as shown below.
NOTE If the cutoff length of 0.8 mm, A of 0.10 mm is specified, traversing speed can be set
to either 0.25 mm/s or 0.5 mm/s.
