5.16 Resetting to the default settings
The SJ-301 has a function to reset the measurement condition settings to the factory-set
defaults.
NOTE Care must be exercised when resetting to the factory-set defaults. If the SJ-301 is
reset, all of the previous settings will be lost.
TIP For information about the default setup contents refer to “■ Measurement conditions
that can be modified according to the requirements” in section 4.1, “Overall Measure-
ment Flow”.
■ Operation procedure
1. With the instrument on, press the reset button at the rear of the Display Unit.

A window will be displayed on the touch panel to confirm whether the setup contents can
be reset to the default values.

2. If there was no problem in resetting to the default values, touch the [Enter] button.
All the settings of the SJ-301 will be reset to the default values. While the contents are
being reset, a progress bar (“- - - -

”) will be displayed.
