5.7 Modifying the Measuring Range
The SJ-301 can perform measurement in one of the following measuring ranges: 10, 50, 100,
350 m (400, 2000, 4000, 14000 in), and Auto. Use the Auto range unless a specific range
is specified: a narrow range is sensitive and is apt to lead to an over-range.
The operator can also select a counteraction whether the measurement is continued or
aborted, if an over-range error occurs.
TIP If the measuring range is changed, the resolution will also change.
