RECALCULATION WITH
THE MODIFIED
MEASUREMENT
CONDITIONS
The SJ-301 has a function to recalculate the measurement data by modifying the measure-
ment conditions after performing a roughness measurement. If this recalculation function is
on, measurement data is recalculated with the modified measurement conditions and dis-
played on the touch panel.
■ Measurement conditions that can be modified
The SJ-301 can perform recalculation after modifying the following measurement conditions:
Surface texture standard
Measured profile
Filter
Number of sampling lengths (can be reduced)
Parameters
Unit
Deletion of the required data
NOTE • This recalculation function cannot be used if MOTIF.R-profile or MOTIF.W-profile
is specified.
• The recalculation function cannot be used if the number of sampling length is
increased.
• The SJ-301 does not support recalculation with a modified cutoff length.
• The recalculation function may not be used due to mismatch of the pre-travel and
post-travel conditions if the filter or measured profile is modified.
