3.4 Applying the Touch Panel Protection Sheet
■ Applying the touch panel protection sheet
NOTE First of all, wipe the touch panel clean using a dry cloth.
1. Peel the separator (sheet protecting the self-adhesive surface) from the touch panel protec-
tion sheet.

2. Fit the straight edge, the one not bent, into the gap between the touch panel and the display
unit cover as shown below.

3. Put the protection sheet in place and press the entire surface lightly using a dry cloth.
NOTE • Do not put the protection sheet in a wrong direction. If the display unit is put in
the carrying case in this state, the protruded part of the protection sheet may be
pressed by the carrying case, the touch panel may response, then malfunction
will be resulted.
• If the protruded part of the protection sheet or the bent edge is pressed strongly,
the touch panel could respond to it.
