4. MEASUREMENT OPERATION
4.4 Switching the measured results display
While measured results are displayed on the Home screen, the measurements of other
parameters can be switched to, or the measured profile can be displayed.
4.4.1 Switching displayed parameters
While measured results are displayed on the Home screen, the display of the parameters can
be switched by touching the parameter scroll button.

Each time the [Parameter Scroll] button is touched, the parameters that have been selected
using the measurement condition parameter customizing function are switched in the follow-
ing order: “Ra” → “Ry” → “Rz” → --- .
Only customized parameters can be displayed.
TIP • For information about changing the parameter display setting, refer to section
5.10 “Selecting the Display Parameters (Parameter Customization)”.
• Rz (JIS) is calculated and displayed even if the number of peaks and valleys is
less than that specified by the standard. If this is the case, “#” is appended to the
calculated values. If there is no peak and valley, only “L - P” is displayed.
• If an over-range results during measuring, the measurement data will be dis-
played with a star 夽 attached at the left.
