obtained for the slice levels set based on the heights (depths) from the mean line. The
ordinate graduation interval corresponds to the vertical spacing of the grid lines for

Sample probability density function of the ordinate within the evaluation length, where the
ratio in percentage (%) of the sum of the lengths of the assessed profile sectioned by and
included between two slice lines set apart by unit length to the evaluation length is the
amplitude density.
Profile height amplitude curve is plotted with the depth of the upper slice line on the ordinate
and the amplitude density corresponding to the depth on the abscissa.
