3.2 Attaching and Detaching the Drive/Detector Unit
3.2.1 Attaching and Detaching the Detector
The SJ-301 is shipped with the Display unit, the Drive unit, and the Detector packed sepa-
rately. Connect the three units with connecting cables as directed on the following pages.
The Display unit has a compartment to accommodate safe keep of the Drive/Detector
assembly unit.
IMPORTANT Always hold the Detector body if it is being attached or detached. If the tip or stylus
is held during attachment/detachment, the Detector may be damaged.
