3. SETTING UP THE SJ-301
3.7 Carrying Case
The Carrying case supplied is convenient for safekeeping and carrying the SJ-301.
It is also possible to perform measurement with the Drive/Detector unit being connected to
the Display unit housed in the case.
■ Put the Display unit in the carrying case
Use the following procedure to put the Display unit in the carrying case.
NOTE To avoid the fall of the Display unit onto the floor during putting it in the carrying
case, handle the two on a bench.
1. Open the carrying case cover.
2. Put the Display unit in the carrying case.
3. Fix the Display unit with two screws through the holes on the bottom of the carrying case.

4. Close the carrying case cover.
5. Connect the Drive/Detector unit connecting cable to the connector on the Display unit
through the window at the right of the carrying case.
