2.2 Outline of the Touch Panel
The settings for measurement conditions, statistical processing conditions, print conditions,
and other settings are set up via the touch panel. The functions of the main buttons displayed
in the touch panel and the operating procedure for inputting alphanumeric characters are
explained here.
■ Using the touch panel (About the touch pen)
The buttons for operating the various functions of the SJ-301 are displayed in the touch
panel.

Put the touch pen in the holder as shown when not in use.
NOTE Safe-keep the touch pen in the drive/detector unit compartment if it is not used for
an extended period. See section 11.1 for details.
