5.15 Modifying the Calibration Conditions
If the roughness specimen for calibration is replaced, the calibration conditions must be
modified to those that applied to calibrate the replacement roughness specimen.
Calibration conditions to be modified are the roughness value of the specimen, cutoff length,
the number of sampling lengths or “Filter” values, as required.
IMPORTANT Do not modify calibration conditions unless it is essential. The roughness specimen
supplied as the standard accessory has been calibrated to the factory standard
traceable to the national standard.
