8. SAVE/READ OF MEASUREMENTS, MEASUREMENT CONDITIONS AND STATISTICAL DATA
■ Handling the memory card
A memory card can be inserted in the slot on the right side of the SJ-301.
First, remove the protection cover fitted in the slot, then insert the memory card.

● Inserting the memory card
IMPORTANT Insert the memory card straightforward correctly fitting in the memory card slot guide.
Otherwise the connector pins at the recess may be damaged.
Insert the memory card into the slot as far as it will go.
● Removing the memory card
IMPORTANT Do not remove the memory card while performing measurement with SJ-301 or
while accessing the memory card.
It may adversary affect the SJ-301 or memory card
1. Push on the ejector.
The memory card will pop part of the way out of the slot.
2. Pull the memory card the rest of the way out of the slot.
TIP Always use a genuine Mitutoyo memory card (Part No. 12AAA841).
