NOTE Align the mating connectors properly when connecting them. If the connectors are
not firmly connected, the SJ-301 may not operate properly.
8. Plug the connector of the new battery pack into the connector of the Display unit.
9. Place the new battery pack neatly inside the Display unit.
IMPORTANT When replacing the battery compartment cover of the Display unit, exercise care so
that the cables are not pinched by the cover.
10.Replace the battery compartment cover.
NOTE The screws must not be torqued to more than 29.4 N•cm (3 kgf•cm), otherwise the
Display unit may be damaged.
11.Fasten the three screws at the bottom of the Display unit.
12.Turn the battery switch at the rear of the Display unit on.
TIP In case the battery can not be charged after battery replacement, force charge the
battery as it may be excessively discharged.
