Method 1: Using the Master Section
This is the quickest method for selecting an external input for your Sound:

To select either of the four available stereo inputs, press the corresponding IN1–IN4 but-
ton in the Master section.

The button lights up and the corresponding external input is routed to your Sound!
Press either of the IN1–IN4 buttons to select an external input to be routed to the selected Sound. Here the first stereo pair
is selected.
The Master section additionally provides you with very useful features:
â–ª Upon your selection the level meter lights up blue and indicates the level of the selected
input pair — and will indicate it until you press another input/output button in the Master
section. At the top of the level meter, red LEDs will indicate any clipping in the input sig-
nal.
â–ª The Master encoder allows you to quickly adjust the input gain of the selected input.
Should the level meter above go up to the red clipping LEDs, simply turn the Master en-
coder counterclockwise to attenuate the level of the incoming signal.
â–ª If you press another input button at the left of the level meter, you select another external
input for the selected Sound.
