Selecting Wells using a Sample Names File

This Sample Names file cannot be created in the Sample Names
Editor window in the LabChip GX Reviewer software because the
files created in the Sample Names Editor window always contain
one row for each well in the plate. The Sample Names files for
selecting wells are typically created by a LIMS or can be created in
Microsoft
®
Excel and are saved as a *.csv file.
To select the wells using a Sample Names file:
1 Create the Sample Names file with one row for each well to be
sampled.
2 Touch the Home button and then touch the Run button.
3 Select the desired run settings on the Select Wells Tab.
4 Select at least one well in the plate diagram. It does not matter
which well is selected. The Next button is not enabled unless at
least one well is selected.
5 Touch the Next button or the Setup Run Tab.
6 Select the Sample Names file check box.
7 Touch the Browse button next to the Sample Names text box,
select the Sample Names file (*.csv), and touch the Open button.
