If an access user does not log out after passing the web authentication, changing IP
address may cause failure to access the Internet.
Viewing Configurations
Display web authentication configuration and statistics.

Configuring Relevant Parameters of Ruijie First generation Web
Authentication
The first generation web authentication will only function normally after all parameters required in this
section have been configured. The following sections describe how to configure relevant parameters of
the first generation web authentication:
Configuring the IP Address of Portal Server
Configuring the URL of the Authentication Page of Portal Server (Optional)
Configuring the Communication Key Used Between Device and Portal Server
Configuring the SNMP Parameters Used Between Device and Portal Server
Configuring the IP Address of Portal Server
To successfully deploy Ruijie first generation web authentication, the IP address of Portal Server must be
configured. By default, the IP address of Portal Server is not configured on the device. The configuration
steps are shown below:
Ruijie# configure terminal
Enter the global configuration mode.
Ruijie(config)# http redirect ip-address
Configure the IP address for HTTP redirection, namely the
IP address of Portal Server.
Ruijie(config)# show http redirect
View the configuration of HTTP redirection.
To remove the IP address configured for Portal Server, execute the no http redirect command in the
global configuration mode.
Configuration example:
# Set the IP address of Portal Server to 176.10.0.1.
