Configuration Guide WEB Authentication Configuration
To cancel the setting of network resources requiring no authentication, execute “no http redirect
direct-site ip-address [ip-mask]” under the global configuration mode.
Example:
# Set the site of 172.16.x.x in the campus intranet to be a resource requiring no authentication.
Ruijie# configure terminal
Enter configuration commands, one per line. End with CNTL/Z.
Ruijie(config)# http redirect direct-site 172.16.0.0 255.255.0.0
Ruijie(config)# show web-auth
Configuring Information Updating Interval of Authenticated Users
The access device keeps information of authenticated users and periodically updates such information
as time of being online, to monitor the traffic and the online hours of the users.
By default, the access device updates information (including online hours, traffic generated) of
authenticated users every 180 seconds. To change the interval for updating information of online users,
perform the following steps:
Ruijie# configure terminal
Enter the global configuration mode.
Ruijie(config)# web-auth
update-interval seconds
Set seconds to be the information updating interval of online users,
with the value scope being 30-3600 seconds.
Ruijie(config)# show web-auth
View the configurations of the device.
To restore the information updating interval of online users, execute “no web-auth update-interval”
under the global configuration mode.
Example:
# Set information updating interval of online users to 60 seconds.
Ruijie# configure terminal
Enter configuration commands, one per line. End with CNTL/Z.
Ruijie(config)# web-auth update-interval 60
Ruijie(config)# show running-config
The updating interval of user information must be configured as 60 or multiple of 60.
Otherwise, the system will select the multiple of 60 above and closest to the actual
configuration as the interval.
