3.4 Options
3.4.1 PR 1713/04 Serial I/O
The plug-in card contains 1x RS 232 and 1x RS 485/ 422, whereby only the RS 485 is galvanically isolated. Max.
3 cards PR 1713/04 can be used. The parameters of the RS 232 and RS 485/ 422 are adjusted by software
configuration. The RS 485/ RS 422 interface must be additionally configured by DIP switches on the card before
installation.
