The QoT results are basically to be interpreted as follows:
°
100% = teach-in successful. About 50% of operating reserves remain for
homogeneous contamination, temperature changes, etc.
°
50% ... 100% = teach-in successful. Only limited operating reserve remains.
Recommendation: Testing of alignment, material position, material proper‐
ties, etc.
°
1% ... 50% = teach-in not successful. Operating reserve is basically no longer
available. Stable operation over long periods of time is not guaranteed.
Recommendation: Testing of alignment, material position, material proper‐
ties, etc.
4. If the teach-in process has been unsuccessful, select the “Repeat sensor teach-
in”, “Sensor alignment”, “Blanking” or “Cancel” option.

Performing material teach-in
Prerequisites:
•
Sensor teach-in was successfully completed.
•
The object or the objects are placed in the tolerance zone of the object position.
•
The required minimum distances to the measurement field border and between
the objects are upheld.
You can use the “Material teach-in” menu on the “Enhanced Sensing” page to parame‐
terize addition settings for material teach-in or start material teach-in.
