38.6 Application example
The K5L020 monitoring card is used to monitor valves for a spare battery of cylin-
ders. Upon open line or short circuit on one of the valve lines, an extinguishing
control fault is signaled. The spare extinguishing agent battery of cylinders can be
connected to the extinguishing control device by means of a key and a slave relay.
At the same time the active extinguishing agent battery of cylinders is connected to
the K5L020.
