12.2 Basic components of the fire control panel (19",
modular) FC2080
The fire control panel FC2080 is assembled individually and is not available as a
complete station. The components required for operating and extending the
FC2080 are collated in this chapter.
12.2.1 Processor unit (19", FC2080) FCC2002-A1
The processor unit (19", FC2080) is the basic component for the FC2080 and is
comprised of one carrier plate, one card cage (CPU) FCC2003-A1 and one card
cage (5 slots) FCA2008-A1.
The card cage (CPU) contains one ↑ CPU card FCC2004-A1 and one
communication card FCC2005-A1 as standard.
One slot in the card cage (CPU) is reserved for the 2nd redundant CPU card. The
two remaining slots can be loaded according to preference.
The processor unit is supplied with one cable kit for connecting an optional
operating unit.
12.2.2 CPU card (FC2080) FCC2004-A1
The ↑ CPU card (FC2080) contains the CPU module of the fire control panel
FC2080. One CPU card is installed in the processor unit (19", FC2080) or in the
card cage (CPU), respectively as standard.
An additional CPU card must be loaded for the redundant CPU operation.
The FC2080 is factory-equipped with one CPU card (FC2080) on which a network
module (SAFEDLINK, CC) FN2010-A1 is loaded.
The optional second CPU card is supplied without network module (SAFEDLINK,
CC). Before the CPU card is installed, the network module must be switched from
the communication card to the CPU card.
The CPU card (FC2080) is also used in the FG2020 together with the card cage
(CPU) FCC2003-A1.
12.2.3 Communication card (FC2080) FCC2005-A1
The communication card (FC2080) is the interface between the ↑ CPU card and
the FC2080 periphery and is supplied as standard along with the processor unit
(19", FC2080).
The communication card has the following features:
● 5-port Ethernet switch
● Holder for the ↑ license key
● Monitoring of the ↑ FCnet/SAFEDLINK networking
● Network module (SAFEDLINK, CC), loaded as standard equipment
● RS232 module (isolated) integrated
● RS485 module (isolated), integrated with earth fault monitoring
● Real time clock (48 h standby)
