8.6 Special features of SAFEDLINK networking with
FC2080
The ↑ FCnet networking of the fire control panel FC2080 differs in the following
respects from that of the compact control panels:
● Internal connection to optional operating unit
● ↑ Network module (SAFEDLINK) as well as wiring and installation location
All other points, such as characteristic data and devices that can be connected on
↑ FCnet, correspond to ↑ SAFEDLINK networking.
Example of standalone fire control panel FC2080 with operating unit
The fire control panel FC2080 is operated without an operating unit. The optional
operating unit for the FC2080 is autonomous to the FC2080 and corresponds to a
separate ↑ station. Communication is via the ↑ FCnet as shown.
