Fire control panels FC2060 and FC2080 with the PMI & mainboard FCM2004 are
not supported by firmware > MPEN 3.0 because of memory restrictions.
The fire control panels FC2020, FC2030, FC2040, and FC2060 are also referred
to as compact control panels and compact stations in the documentation. FC20xx
is used to refer to all the control panels, providing the relevant specifications are
valid for all of them.
Networking
The FS20 fire control panels and fire terminals are networked via the
↑ FCnet/SAFEDLINK system bus as standard. The system bus enables system-
wide alarming and access to every single device. Up to 32 stations can be
networked redundantly via a ↑ SAFEDLINK network. Several SAFEDLINK
networks can be connected to form one extended network. A maximum of 64
stations can be networked in an extended network.
↑ Detector lines
The FS20 fire control panels all support the ↑ FDnet detector line. In addition to
detectors and input and output modules, indicating and operating devices can be
connected to the FDnet detector line. Power supply for these devices is ensured by
the detector line. An additional supply installation is thus not necessary. The one
exception to this is the transponder FDCIO223, which needs its own supply. The
fire control panels FC2020…FC2060 have integrated line cards for the FDnet
detector line. The following fire control panels can be equipped with additional line
cards (FDnet/C-NET), line cards for detector migration, and I/O cards (module bus
cards):
● The two fire control panels FC2030 and FC2060 can be additionally equipped
with line cards for FDnet detector lines, for migration cards, and with I/O cards.
● The fire control panel FC2080 is a modular system and must be equipped with
line cards and I/O cards.
Configuration and operation
The FS20 system is configured using the PC software FXS2002 (SintesoWorks). A
simple system can also be configured on the station using the 'Auto-configuration'
function.
SintesoWorks and a station may be connected locally via Ethernet or via remote
access.
The FS20 system can be viewed and operated or viewed only using the PC
software SintesoView during operation.
