Thisincludesthetransducer.UsetheInstallationdialogboxtosetupallinterfaceswith
externaldevices,andtosetupbasicparametersrelatedtoinstallationandoperation.In
mostcases,youonlyneedtodothisonce.
–SensorInstallation
FortheST90touseandoffercorrectnavigationalinformation,oneormoreexternal
sensorsmustbeconnected.Typicalsensorsarethosethatprovidespeed,headingand
geographicalposition.OntheSensorInstallationpageyoudenewhichexternal
sensorsyourST90willimportinformationfrom.Youmustalsodecidewhich
datagramformatsthatwillbeaccepted.Onceasensorhasbeenchosen,youmust
selecttheoffsetvaluesthatdenethesensor’sphysicallocationrelativetoyour
vessel’scoordinatesystem.
–SensorConguration
WithseveralsensorsconnectedtotheST90,manyofthemwillprovidethesame
datagrams.Wecannotexpectthatthedatagramsprovidethesameinformation.
TheSensorCongurationpageallowsyoutodeneadatagrampriority,sothatthe
informationfromthe"mostreliable"sensorisusedbytheST90.Youcanalsodene
manualvaluesincaseasensorisunserviceable,ornotinstalled.
