OnceanechohasbeeprovidedwithamarkerintheST90presentationitisregarded
asanobject.ThetableatthetopoftheObjectsmenushowsyoualltheobjectsthat
arecurrentlyidentiedwithmarkers.Eachmarkedobjectislistedwiththefollowing
information:
ID:Thisistheuniqueidenticationofeachobjectmarker.
Eachmarkerisnumberedsequentially.
Objectswithallocatedmarkersareidentiedwithan"M"intheObjectsmenu.
Objectsthataresubjectedtotargettrackingareidentiedwitha"T".Onemarker
canbegivenprioritystatustoidentifytheobjectasthemostimportanttargetor
position.Thepriorityisidentiedwitha"P".
R:Thisistherange(inmetres)fromthevesselandtotheobjectidentiedwith
themarker.
T:Thisisthetruebearingtotheobject.
D:Thisistheobject’sdepth(inmetres)relativetotheseasurface.
Eachmarkerisspeciedbyitsgeographicalposition(latitudeandlongitude)andits
depth.Additionalinformationisprovidedforobjectsthataresubjectedtotarget
tracking.
Selectthecheckboxontheleftsideofanyobjecttomarkitfordeletion,orto
saveit.
Selecttheobjectlinetoactivatethecontrolbuttons,andtoretrieveinformation
abouttheobject.
SelectAll
ClickSelectAlltoselectallthemarkersinthelist
Delete
SelectDeletetodeleteallthemarkersyouhaveselectedintheobjectslist.Each
markerisremovedbothfromthelistandfromtheST90presentation.
New
SelectNewtoaddanewmarkermanually.TheNewMarkerdialogboxopensto
acceptpositionanddepthinformation.
Export/Import
Onceyouhavedenedanynumberofobjects,thesecanbesavedtoaleonthe
ProcessorUnitharddisk.Ifnecessary,youcanlaterretrievetheleforreuse.Thele
formatisXML.Theleislocatedinthefollowingfolder:
c:\ProgramData\Simrad\ST90\Markers
