1.3.6 Operation on snow
Snow coated or frozen ground is slippery. So
pay extreme attention when tramping or
operating machine. Do not operate control
lever suddenly. Pay much attention when
operating on a slope even a slight slope. Can
cause slip.
Frozen ground will become soft along with the
increase of ambient temperature. This may
cause machine to tip over.
In case of access to deep snow, there is a
hazard that machine may tip over or be buried
in the snow. Be cautious not to leave the road
shoulder or get trapped in snow.
When clearing snow, the road shoulder and
objects placed beside the road are buried in the
snow and can not be seen. There is a hazard of
the machine tipping over or hitting covered
objects, so always carry out operation
carefully.
1.3.7 Avoid tipping over
Warning: Do not attempt to jump off a
tipping over machine; this may cause severe
accidents of injury and death.
Machine will tip over before you jump off
the machine.
Fasten seat belt.
There is a possibility of tipping over when
machine is operated on a slope. To avoid
tipping over
Smooth jobsite of machine.
Lower bucket to ground, keep it close to
machine.
Lower operation speed to prevent machine
from tipping over.
Do not change direction when tramping on
a slope.
Decrease slewing speed of upper carriage,
when bucket is loaded.
Be alert that ground surface becomes soft
arising from increase of ambient temperature.
This may affect the stability of machine.
