3.3 Control and gauges
3.3.1 Pilot safety lock lever
Warning
When leaving the cab, always set the
pilot safety lock lever (1) to LOCK
position. Failure to do so as well as to
touch the lever accidentally, serious
injury may occur.
If the safety lock lever is not set to
LOCK position, there is a possibility
that it will move and lead to serious
accidents or injury. The specification
of these control levers is shown in fig.
When operating the safety lock lever
upward or downward, pay attention not to
touch the other control levers.
Pilot safety lock lever is a device being used to
lock up working equipments and control levers for
swing, travel and accessories (if equipped). Pull the
lever to lock up. .
Pilot safety lock lever is pilot hydraulic lock
device. Even if it’s in locked position, the control lever
for working equipment and travel control lever are
movable. But working equipments, travel motor and
swing motor stop.
