C.1.1 Specification of SV 977D as SLM in the standard configuration
Statement of performance
SV 977D working as the SLM with all listed below accessories meets requirements of the IEC 61672:2013 for
the Class 1 Group X instruments.
Configuration of the complete SLM in its normal mode of operation
SV 977D sound & vibration level meter and analyser comprising:
SV 12L microphone preamplifier
MK 255 prepolarised free-field microphone (1/2", nominal sensitivity
50 mV/Pa)
Recommended calibrator:
SV 36 Class 1 sound calibrator: 94/114 dB@1000 Hz or equivalent (not
included in the standard set)
Accessories included in the SV 977D instrument set
SC 158 USB-C cable
SA 22 windscreen
Accessories available:
SP 75 RS 232 interface for SV 977D
SA 277D outdoor microphone kit
SC 26 extension cable for SV 12L (TNC plug to TNC socket)

Measured quantities
The measured quantities in the sound meter mode are: Peak, Max, Min, Spl, Leq, SEL, Lden, LEPd, Ltm3,
LTeq, Ln (Leq statistics), EX (expected Leq), SD (standard Leq deviation), LR1 and LR2 (rolling Leq), OVL
(overload time %).
Definitions for parameters are given in Appendix D.
