C.1.4 Effect of Vibration
1. Mechanical vibration with an acceleration of 1 m/s² perpendicular to the membrane of the microphone for
the frequencies 31.5 Hz, 63 Hz, 125 Hz, 250 Hz, 500 Hz, 630 Hz, 800 Hz and 1000 Hz increases the low
level of the linear operation range according to the Table C.1.12.
2. Mechanical vibration with an acceleration of 1 m/s² parallel to the membrane of the microphone for the
frequencies 31.5 Hz, 63 Hz, 125 Hz, 250 Hz, 500 Hz, 630 Hz, 800 Hz and 1000 Hz increases the low
level of the linear operation range according to the Table C.1.13.
Test conditions:
SV 977D with microphone and preamplifier is mounted on the shaker.
Ref 1. Vibration is applied in a direction perpendicular to the plane of the microphone diaphragm.
Ref 2. Vibration is applied in a direction parallel to the plane of the microphone diaphragm.
