The maximum length of time that you can leave readouts highlighted is 5 seconds. The readouts
that are highlighted are Vertical Scale, Horizontal Delay, Trigger Level, Trigger Source, Trigger
Slope, and Source Termination.
User Preferences: Touch Screen
Access this control window from the Utilities menu User Preferences command.
Overview
Use the Touch Screen control window to activate right-click menus via the touch screen and to
calibrate the touch screen.
To Use
Click the On/Off button to turn the right-click menus via the touch screen on or off. Use the
increment/decrement buttons to set the duration to touch and hold for activating the right-click
menus. Touch the Test Area to validate that the right-click menus work by touch.
Click the Calibrate Touch Screen button, and then follow the on-screen instructions to calibrate
the touch screen.
Behavior
The duration that you set determines how long you need to touch and hold before a right-click
menu will appear. When you touch the Test Area, a right-click menu will appear after the
specified duration.
Note
You cannot activate the right-click menu via the touch screen on a control window or the
multipurpose knobs. You must use a mouse to activate a right-click menu in these areas.
The Calibrate Touch Screen button starts the Touch Screen calibration program.
