6.Starttheengineandrunitatlow-idlespeed(1,400rpm).Checkfor
hydraulic-uidleaksfromthetestconnectionsandcorrectbeforecontinuing
thetest.
7.Withtheenginerunning,presstheenginespeedswitchtofullspeed(3,000
rpm)position.
WARNING
Keepawayfromthedeckduringthetesttopreventpersonalinjury.
8.HaveanoperatorengagethePTOandmonitorthepressuregauge.
9.WiththeenginerunningatfullspeedandPTOengaged,thepressureshould
be1,930to2,340kPa(280to340psi).
10.DisengagethePTOandthenshutofftheengine.Recordthetestresults.
11.Ifspecicationisnotmet,repairorreplacethepressurevalveinthe
transmission;refertoServicingtheTransmission(page4–98).Alsoconsider
awornordamagedchargepumpinthetransmission(thetractioncharge
circuitwillbeaffectedaswell).
12.Releasepressurefromthehydraulicsystem;refertoReleasingPressure
fromtheHydraulicSystem(page4–5).
13.Disconnectthetestgaugefromthepressurevalvetestport.Installtheplug
intotheportandtorquetheplugto19to20N∙m(14to15ft-lb).
