TestProcedure
1.Ensurethatthehydraulicuidisatnormaloperatingtemperature.
CAUTION
Beforeopeningthehydraulicsystem,operateallthehydraulic
controlstoreleasesystempressureandavoidinjuryfromthe
pressurizedhydraulicuid;refertoReleasingPressurefromthe
HydraulicSystem(page4–5).

Note:Ifthemachineisequippedwithoptionalspeedreductionkit,a
hydraulicttingandhoseforthekitisconnectedtothetransmissionpressure
valvetestport.FortestingthePTOpressurevalve,disconnectthehydraulic
hoseandremovethettingfromthetransmissionport.Installacapinthe
speedreductionkithose.Then,installthepressuregaugeandproceedwith
remainingstepsoftest.WhenthePTOpressurevalvetestingiscompleted,
installthettingtothetransmissionport,removethecapfromthehydraulic
hose,andconnectthehosetothetting.
5.Removetheplugfromthepressurevalvetestport(Figure52).Connecta
6,900kPa(1,000psi)hydraulic-pressuregaugewithanattachedhydraulic
hosetothetestport.
