RemovingtheLiftCylinder
CAUTION
Beforeopeningthehydraulicsystem,operateallthehydraulic
controlstoreleasesystempressureandavoidinjuryfromthe
pressurizedhydraulicuid;refertoReleasingPressurefromthe
HydraulicSystem(page4–5).
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,lowerthecuttingdeck,shutoffthe
engine,settheparkingbrake,andremovethekeyfromthekeyswitch.
WARNING
Ensurethatthecuttingdeckisfullyloweredandsupportedbefore
looseningthehydrauliclinesfromtheliftcylinder.
Ifthedeckisnotsupportedasthehydrauliclinesareloosened,the
deckmaydropunexpectedly.
2.EnsurethatthecuttingdeckissupportedbytheHOCpinandnotbythelift
cylindersothatthedeckwillremaininpositionduringtheliftcylinderremoval.
Ifnecessary,supportthedeckwithsolidblockstopreventitfrommoving.
