Note:ThePTOdriveshaftremovaliseasierifthemachineispositionedon
ahoist.
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,lowerthecuttingdeck,shutoffthe
engine,settheparkingbrake,andremovethekeyfromthekeyswitch.
WARNING
DonotstarttheengineandengagethePTOswitchwhenthePTO
driveshaftisdisconnectedfromthecuttingdeck.Ifyoustartthe
engineandthePTOshaftisallowedtorotate,seriouspersonalinjury
andmachinedamagecouldresult.
BeforedisconnectingthePTOdriveshaftfromthecuttingdeck,
disconnectthePTOsolenoidcoilconnectorfromthewireharnessto
preventthePTOclutchfromengagingunintentionally.
