4. Cylinder Liner − Safe
Storage
1) Attach the chain 94212A to the lifting
tool and the engine room as shown in
Fig. 3.
2) Put the wooden underlays (4, 5) and
the wooden chocks (3) in position as
shown in Fig. 4.
3) Lift the cylinder liner (2) a small
distance. The cylinder liner will tilt.
4) Operate the engine room crane to
lower the cylinder liner 2 on to the
wooden underlays (4, 5).
5) Fully lower the cylinder liner.
6) Turn the cylinder liner 90° .
7) Put the wooden chocks (3) in position o
prevent movement.
8) Remove the tool 94201.
9) Remove the insulation bandage, refer
to paragraph 5.
10) Put one more wooden chock (6) in
position as shown.
