2. Removal
1) Put two slings (94049A, 2.5m) in
position on the expansion piece (6,
200kg) as shown in (Fig. 2).
2) Connect the slings to the hook on the
crane.
3) Use the crane to put a light tension on
the slings.
4) Remove the 20 screws (10).
5) Remove the 20 nuts (11) and the
bolts (12).
6) Move the expansion piece (6) to one
side.
7) Lower the expansion piece on to a
suitable surface.
8) Attach the crane hook to the eye
bolt (13).
9) Use the crane to lift the exhaust valve
(3, 2200kg) from the cylinder cover.
10) Carefully lower the exhaust valve on to
a wooden underlay.
11) Remove and discard the O-rings (16)
from the valve cage and valve seat.
