6. Valve seat − installation
1) Clean the bores and the sealing faces
of the valve cage (2) and the valve seat
(1, Fig. 7).
2) Apply oil (or lubricants e.g. Never-Seez
NSBT, or Loctite anti-seize compound)
on to the sealing faces of the valve seat
(1) and the valve cage (2).
3) Put the same lubricant on the new
O-ring (3).
4) Put the new O-ring (3) on to the valve
seat (1).
5) You can use the assembly tool 94261
and two M16 eye bolts to lift the valve
seat.
6) Align the marks on the valve seat (1)
with the marks on the valve cage (2).
7) Push the valve seat (1) into the bore of
the valve cage (1).
8) Install the top two halves of the tool
94261 into the groove of the valve seat
(1).
9) Install the bottom two halves of the tool
94261 into the groove of the valve cage
(2).
10) Turn the four jack screws (4) equally to
fully push the valve seat (1) into the
valve cage (2).
11) Use the feeler gage 94122 to make
sure that there is no clearance between
the sealing faces.
12) Remove the tool 94261.
