9) Attach deviation pipe 94319 to the
beam of the gallery.
10) Put round sling 94039-015 around the
beam.
11) Attach chain block 94017-015 to the
sling.
12) Move the bearing cover (1) to the left
until it hangs only on the left chain
block 94017-029.
13) Disconnect hook of the right chain
block 94017-029 from bearing cover.
14) Attach hook of chain block 94017-015
to the chain 94325 on bearing cover.
15) Operate chain blocks 94017-029 and
94017-015 to guide the bearing cover
out of the column, see Fig. 4.
16) Slacken chain block 94017-029 until
the bearing cover hangs only on chain
block 94017-015.
17) Use either the engine room crane or
trolley 94015-008 with another chain
block 94017-029 to move bearing cover
further.
3. Installation
1) Make sure that the bearing cover (1)
has no damage.
Tools for installation are the same as for
removal.
2) Move the bearing cover (1) over the the
crosshead in reverse procedure as for
the removal.
3) Operate the chain blocks 94017-029 to
move the bearing cover (1, Fig. 5) to a
position directly above the elastic bolts.
4) Carefully lower the bearing cover (1) on
to the crosshead pin. Make sure that
you do not damage the elastic bolts (3).
5) Make sure that the holes in the bearing
cover (1) engage with the four dowel
pins (2).
